In the book "13 Reasons Why" by Jay Asher Hannah baker has reached the tapes where she talks about the main character and narrator of the story. She is explaining how Clay, the narrator made her feel. She says that clay was the only one she felt she could trust. That was a feeling she hasn’t had in a long time. As Clay listens to these, he feels like screaming. He thinks to himself that he regrets not taking the step right away in to being Hannah’s friend.
